The total population of the study area is 29,575 with sex ratio of 924 females per 1000 males. The literacy rate of the study area is 49.56%. All the villages within the study area are well established with infrastructural facilities such as basic education, drinking water, medical, post & telegraph facilities. The major crop of the area is paddy.
