Noise monitoring was carried out at nine locations as per the standard prescribed by CPCB. Noise levels were recorded at 1 hour intervals for 24 hours, once a month during the study period at all locations. The noise levels varied between 48.12 to 59.42 dB (A) during the day time and 32.21 to 44.32 dB (A) during the night time, which are below the prescribed limits of CPCB.
