Health Facilities
Health is one of the basic service indicators, which must be studied to know the quality of life in the area. Our Doctor (MBBS) is visiting the surrounding area thrice in a month with a team carrying a Testing Kit and Free Medicines.
Afforestation
A. Compensatory Afforestation has been undertaken by the State Forest Department over 45.585 hectares.
B. Afforestation in the Safety Zone and OB Dump around 4.647 hectares.
Mining Process
Three quarries, namely, Tantra Quarry, Raikela Quarry and Raikela West, have been developed in northern and southern side of the lease area. The details of the quarries have been outlined.
Environmental Monitoring Programme
The action plan of EMP is being updated every year with respect to the results achieved and proposed activities for next year. Any new regulations circulated by MoEF/CPCB will be taken care of.
